WHERE HERITAGE

MEETS HOSPITALITY

At Msala Heritage Group, every dish tells a story of tradition, care and family. From the first welcome to the last bite, we celebrate the flavours of India with the warmth of home and the joy of sharing a table together.

The Msala Story

The Msala Heritage Group has always been built on family values. From Jesey & Satpal's first shop on Victoria Street to today, our journey has been shaped by community, care, and a love of food. What began as a simple buffet for local office workers quickly grew into something much greater than we could have ever imagined.

In 2017, we opened Msala Library, our very first restaurant. From day one, our vision was clear: to celebrate our Indian heritage, share new dishes alongside the classics everyone knows and loves, and uphold the tradition of Indian hospitality - where every guest is welcomed and fed like family.

Every morning, on the drive to Easton, the family would pass a little coffee shop in Fishponds. With a smile, Jesey would say: “One day, that will be our second restaurant.” It was a manifestation spoken aloud, and when the shop eventually went up for sale, her words became reality. Msala Ministry was born and Msala Library took on a new life as takeaway-only.

But the story didn’t stop there. When the original home of Msala Library became available again, we knew we had to return. For us, it was more than just a building - it was where our journey had truly begun and where our community had first believed in us.

And so, in August 2025, Msala Postcode opened its doors. A new chapter in our family story - one that carries forward the same values that guided us from the very start: love, food, and the joy of bringing people together.
